Book Study -The Language of Emotions

I recently completed facilitating this book study and it was such a rich adventure, I’ve decided to offer it again.  The participants remarked how they wish they’d had this information long ago, as it would have helped them understand themselves and what they were feeling along life’s journey.  Here’s what one group member shared;

 

When you were born, your first language was in the emotional realm.  In order to get your needs met you expressed how you felt by crying, cooing, smiling.  Over time, we can loose touch with this language and not understand why we are feeling something and how to express it.  I often share with my clients that “no one gave us the Cliffs Notes on how to understand, feel and express our emotions in a healthy way”.  This book is the closest I’ve found to those notes.

During this book study, we’ll explore the emotions and the rich messages they have for you.  You’ll also create a visual journal of the emotions to be your guide.  After moving through this book study, you’ll be able to identify emotions and navigate feelings as they arise within you, in a grounded, honoring, practical way.

Time: 6:30pm to 8:00pm

Fee: $250.00 for the 5 weeks, includes the book and art journal
